I have three questions about the trill extender. In the example below I have set the #'edge-height = #'(4 . 0) in order to show the vertical dash that appears at the beginning of the trill extender. If I put a non-zero value in the other position I get a similar vertical dash at the ending point

The tagline as well as all other titling information is typeset by LaTeX. In LaTeX, you get a new line by typing \\, however, in the LilyPond input, you have to replace each \ with \\, so you should try something like tagline = First line second line /Mats KEVIN ZEMBOWER wrote: I'm trying

It should certainly work if you add \usepackage{times} and call dvips with the flag -Ppdf. For the option with cm-super, I have never used it myself, since we purchased the corresponding Type1 fonts from Micropress before cm-super was available, but I would be surprised if that alternative didn't

A tie can only occur between two notes in the same voice, which in the world of LilyPond means that they have to live in the same Voice context. Either you could include the full \repeat and \alternative within one of the {...} \\ {...} voices (actually you want at least the \repeat to appear in

As you can find in the manual (section Invoking lilypond), the only possible values for this field are no or a positive number. This is why your file fails. Just leave out that field if you want normal page numbering. /Mats Lyle Raymond wrote: On Wednesday 24 March 2004 9:36 am, Mats Bengtsson

At least in 2.1.34, it certainly splits into several lines, however I'm afraid that raggedright doesn't do exactly what you expect, especially it's not similar to what you get with \raggedright in LaTeX. What LilyPond does with this option, is that it breaks the lines at the same places as it
