The point of using emacsclient is exactly that you open the file
in the emacs process that is already up and running.
However, what you maybe missed is that you need to start the
corresponding server in emacs.

Just curious -- is it just me, or is Lilypond missing rf (as opposed to
rfz) and the articulation mark for a natural harmonic (o)? Couldn't
find them anywhere in the docs...

2, but here's what I get after rpm -Uvh lilypond*
Failed dependencies:

I use ChoirStaff instead of StaffGroup. It doesn't draw bar lines down
through the lyrics.
