The PluginManager was not able to download/install the files. Why? I dont know. After playing around I found the Download Options. After I changed the setting from "Plugin central default" to "SWITCH", plugins are downloaded. That would install dependencies like the Console, ErrorList, Templa

You need to upgrade your version of Freetype to version 2.1.10 or newer. By the way, doesn't the generic Linux package at www.lilypond.org work in Slackware? As far as I know, it contains compatible versions of all the necessary libraries and tools, so you shouldn't get these problems. /Mats
