Has anyone given thought to the possibility of having the MIDI instrument
names correspond to a given soundfont's program instruments?
I see that the MIDI instrument names are simply specified in midi.scm. How
difficult would it be to create a script/process that reads the instruments

Thanks. I was not aware of this and it appears to work as needed.

Hi all,
I am clearing slides for our church music projection and am having some areas
of difficulty particularly with slurs. If I enter the notes as separate voices
the slurs are correct but if I combine them as a chord or use part combine I
only get one slur.

How can I increase the space between the arranger field and the 1st staff?
My score is using a ChoirStaff group.
I've tried putting score-markup-spacing and/or markup-system-spacing in the
\paper section but nothings working.
I've been reading the manuals and am at a loss on how to do this.

I think something like this will work, if you include this in your \header

\fill-line {"Copyright 2014 Your Name" \typewriter "Version 2.1"}
}
Good luck.

You could copy the default footer and add [\fromproperty
#'header:revisiondate] to the [\on-the-fly \first-page] section. Then, in
your header section you could put [revisiondate = "6 August 2014"].

Hi,
I would like to put a revision date at the bottom right of the 1st page on
the same line with the copyright notice. The only two header fields that I
see in the manual are tagline and copyright.
Is there a way that I can do this? I like to have a revision date as we're
working on a score so t

The example given in the docs for placing a sharp on a prall results in

Calibre can be used to create new e-books from scratch since sigil
development is taken over by the developers of calibre and it already has
