Why does a String Number appear under a Horizontal Bracket in the first
instance, but disappear in the following score?
And a tangential question: why don't certain engravers, such as
Horizontal_bracket_engraver, have a context?

That's tricky stuff. It has nothing to do with horizontal brackets by the way,
you can see it

Folks,
who has ever used option `--show-rules` of `convert-ly`, except for
being curious what this option does?
In https://gitlab.com/lilypond/lilypond/-/merge_requests/1854 we are
discussing whether it would make sense to remove it.
Please comment.
