Re: Anybody near a library posessing the Old Schumann Edition

2014-01-30 Thread Alexander Deubelbeiss
I wanted to get my hands on a volume of Clara Schumann's edition of Robert Schumann's works. Unfortunately I realized that we don't have this at all in my city. Is there anybody having convenient access to a library that owns this edition (not the one revised by Wilhelm Kempff)?

(Win XP/ LP 2.8.3-1) double-click on .ly breaks paths?

2006-05-21 Thread A. Deubelbeiss
Hi there, Since I upgrode from 2.8.0 to 2.8.2 and later 2.8.3, Lilypond is throwing strange fits that seem related to file paths getting lost. This happens only when I double-click a .ly file; everything works perfectly when I type lilypond filename.ly into a console window. Presumably some

Filtering expressions?

2005-12-08 Thread Alexander Deubelbeiss
Hi there, is there a way to remove certain types of events from an existing music expression? To be specific, I want to strip vocal-specific things (mostly breath marks) from the voices in a 4-part a cappella piece and condense (partcombine) everything into a piano grand staff for the rehearsal
