I am trying to attach a footnote to the center of a glissando as pictured
below. Does anyone know how to do this? I have tried following the directions
for attaching it to a grob (NR 3.3.4)

Hello everyone,
Can you help me create a time signature that has spacing like the attached? I
would like to have the numerator centred near the 4th line and the denominator
centred near the 2nd line with space in between the characters. I have figured
out how to adjust the font size but I have

octave transposition bass and treble clefs.
Does anyone have a pre-existing function for this or for something similar?

Hi Jean,
I think it sounds like a really good idea.
Would it be possible to have a menu for changing the highlighting settings to
create some customizability? I'm not familiar with web development at all so I
don't know if this would be difficult to implement.
Good luck!

I am attempting to replicate Figure 1 by using a variable or function, but I do
not know how to make it work. I am trying to make the tenuto and accidental
stay outside of the staff when together.

Hi frank, this is the place to go for help.
Near the bottom of the page in the manuals section there is a link to video
tutorials made by Ben Lemon. I suggest taking a look at that because he goes
step by step of the installation of LilyPond and frescobaldi, a popular editor
for LilyPond.

Hi Andrew,
It half-works on what I am trying to do, I am attempting to get the rest
closer to the one above it (I have polyphony)
Your code works but I can't get the rest closer, I believe I have to do
another override but I am unsure as to what.
Thank you!

Good afternoon everyone,
I am trying to move the vertical position of a rest in some percussion
music I am typesetting for my teacher.
I am using v. 2.22.0
In the manual it says 'To explicitly specify a rest’s vertical position,
write a note followed by \rest."

Hi all,
I am copying a percussion score for my school's Jazz band as a previous
musician lost their part. I was able to use the alternate font "lilyjazz"
However, on the final note of the score it does not support a whole-note
with a cross style notehead.
I am hoping to change the notehead font to

I am attempting to place two separate scores into one file using \include,
my current issue is that the two scores have different titles and
instruments but currently it is only showing one of the titles and one of
the instrument names, is there a way I can prevent it from doing that?

New LilyPond user here,
