After upgrading from 2.20 to 2.24 to get graphical notation, any score I

Hi,
Weird scenario, and unfortunately I can't hate on the composersince
it's my work and my misbehavior! ;-)
So I have a section of a piece for tenor and orchestra that is in 4/4 but
the singer has cadenza figures for sections, while the orchestra is
resting. So the structure is 4/4 Orchestra
Thanks, all.
I’ll check the bookpart option out again. I was having some issues with getting
it to work with MOLA guidelines correctly, but I don’t remember exactly what it
was. Probably had to do with the custom head
I couldn’t get the ##f to compile without failing, but there’s about 10,000
Hi Ponders,
Is there a way to have multiple scores in a score with different layout
options, and without using lilypond-book or book part?
Basically, I have a multimovment work for large chamber orchestra that I'm
typesetting, and some of the movements I want to use max-systems-per-page =

Hello Lilyponders,
I'd like to submit something for the "Pondings" section of the website. Is
this still being actively updated?

Hello all,
At my university, we are required to print orchestral parts with the name of
the part in the upper left hand corner of the page, before the dedication. I
added the following definition to titling-init.ly above the definition of
header:dedication to accomplish this:

Hi,
No, the instrument_definitions are located in the top of the file above the
note variables.
Thanks

Hello,
I've read through the manual and can't find anything about this issue. In a
score, I'm using \addinstrumentDefinition and \instrumentSwitch.
\addInstrumentDefinition #"triangle"
#`((instrumentTransposition . ,(ly:make-pitch -1 0 0))
(shortInstrumentName . "Tri.")
(clefGlyph . "
Hello,
I have a score with multiple staves. One instrument enter into unmetered
timing and performs a cadenza, the other five instruments rest. The problem
is that when the file is compiled, the barlines in the output is completely
thrown off, even when the same measure is put into a Cadenza on st
Inserting

Hello,
I just wanted to let people know of a bug in XML2LY and the workaround I
found.
Compound meters such as 7/8 and 5/4 are interpreted incorrectly by XML2LY if
the measures contain ghost rests. The program will output something like
this:
\time 5/4
R1... |
\time 4/4
leading to layout errors
Hello,
New lilypond user, finally got rid of finale (thank god). My question is
kind of dumb but I'm really confused about this.
I have a large ensemble score finished (Brass Choir, Organ and Chorus) and I
need to extract parts from this (can you tell I was a finale user for 7
years?) Did I creat
