Here is my solution for marking ties as editorial.
It seems that the size of tie is not known when the
stencil is called, so I used a function from sencil.scm
to calculate its extent. I thought scheme was not too

Update: I have tried to build the latest tar on my system, but I got the
following errors - interestingly all to do with symlinks:

I'm currently working on resetting some church music where only the
first and last three or four verses are actually scores; everything in
the middle is just text, with underlining used to show where the
"movement" comes in (every verse follows an identical pattern except for
the ending verses)

although I still haven't solved starting and ending hairpins in
simultaneous voices as of yet (I think that it may not start outside of of
