Hello, I saw this thread from 2006, and it seems like there was some interest for adding the functionality for setting even and odd page margins. Did this ever get sponsored/implemented? If not, is there still interest in it getting sponsored/implemented? Thanks, Jonathan

Hi, Rick: With the wider margin always falling on the binding spine. Just for the record... According to essentially every example in Robert Bringhurst's amazing book, The Elements of Typographic Style, the internal (spine) gutter should be smaller than the outside (page edge) margin.

Sure, but the key element is still that an opened book always has mirrored margins. It's all depends on how you do your book binding of course. I have one of those plastic spine binders that I use to make my fake books that allow the paper to lay pretty flat when opened. I suppose if you glue
