My two boys were in high school during the last big flood. If you’re going to go to the high school in Sudbury, some how you have to get across the river. My father had given them his big old Chevy, and every day they drove to school via Sherman Bridge Road, since we live in South West Lincoln.

That must have been the time I tried to take the kids to a thing in Sudbury and I tried three different ways to get there -- all were flooded out so we turned around and went back home. Must have been hell for emergency vehicles. After that they did a lot of work on Rte. 20 at the intersection
