I strongly support the plans of the RLF to show their plans for housing at the
mall. That should counter some of the fear mongering on that subject. I would
also encourage the RLF to be more public about their operations generally.

I agree with Peter Buchtal of yesterday. We are not in any position to decide
this issue on Sept. 30. We do not have good usage numbers, and the existing
committee refuses to discuss issues that it claims were "decided" in prior
years or decades. We need a new committee and a clean s
wding, and the kiddoes should not
be placed near the good cookies/pastery there.
It was good to be back at the auditorium with the mostly gray haired town
meeting crowd, who aren't afraid of a storm; one good thing the school project
accomplished was to remove those swing arm rests on

John Kimball, here since 1972. I have voted for every conservation purchase
since, and have very little sympathy for bikes on conservation land. Bikes do
not use the roadside paths but feel entitled to use the roads, and I have no
confidence that they would confine themselves to approved
