Thanks for your reply Tim If I understand your point about #image memory pointers, does this mean that you need to store duplicates of the #images rather than the actual member's image reference (I seem to remember running into this in my testing of vList). This would have the same effect as

I think someone already mentioned using the movieTime instead of cuepoints, but I'll echo it again. It's a lot simpler than having to use cuepoints, because to change them, all you have to do is change a number in your code, as opposed to (with cuepoints) leaving Director and messing around with

Cheers to all on this: Firstly, I've found the movieTime to be really inaccurate (but I've reduced the need for such accuracy in my structure plan). Secondly, I've found out that the company actually owns the Tabuleiro (sp?) DirectMedia Xtra to play their MPEGs and you can add your own cuepoints

Hi John, Yes, you do need to duplicate data if you don't want it to reflect changes you make to the original (ie: vList assets behave just like other lingo lists). We've also used external casts, but went with vList because of its compression feature. I think PiMZ PropSave Xtra could do what you

The easiest thing to do would be: 1) Get the desktopRectList (this is a Lingo property) 2) If there's more than one listed, set your stage to that rect. It would be something akin to: on startMovie if (count(the desktopRectList) =2) then the stage.rect =the desktopRectList[2] end
