Hi List
Just downloaded the trial and trying it out, and I like it already.

Try this one...

circle = member("circle").image.duplicate()
-- Empty rectangle of desired color and size
blank = image(100, 100, 32)
blank.fill(blank.rect, rgb(0, 0, 255))
-- Mask with shape of text
words = member("text").image.extractAlpha()
words = words.createM
This is a bit brain-dead on my part, and I will figure it out
eventually, but I thought I'd throw it out to the list in hopes of a
quick solution ;)
I'm copying a dupe of the image of a text member into a dupe of the
image of a png member. Given the fact that both carry alpha images, the

Longtime lurker. First time posting.
Does anyone here have an example of using a w3d file with director? A URL to forward

Im using lightwave, have read the LW docs, and have read the Macromedia online docs
some, but its still a little unclear to me how I can target an element w

Rather, I'd have a property like 'newValue' that would be void when the

Can you pan QT audio? I haven't been able to find anything about how to do

When I mentioned repeat loops, I was referring to my method of recording the

I just wonder which is the worst overhead - 16 duped lists vs 16 timeo
The way I've set it up right now is with a counter variable that lets the
playback know which entry in the list is the next one to use. Thus, when an
element is read, the counter is incremented to be ready for the next entry.
How would the speed of this method compare to your method of the

No, I understand it to a point, but I'm also saying the best way of
playing back the edits.
If you have a behavior for each mixer track, and each track has a list of
edits, including the time that the edit took place tied to the tracks

I don't think y'all are understanding my question. I already have written
the code to record the data, and am simply looking for the best way to play
it back. (Coincidentally, I devised the same method of recording that Tab
