Firstly, I've found the movieTime to be really inaccurate (but I've reduced
the need for such accuracy in my structure plan).
How so? I've done lots of video driven projects, and not had a problem with
the movietime. One project in particular, the author wanted to pause dvs at
every jump cut -
A word of warning: I haven't used cuepoints in video, but I sure have
in audio (.aif). I have also used the movieTime to sync stuff with
video. From my expercience, using movieTime is more tight than using
cuepoints.
For my sharp projects, I've mainly used quickTime movies on a Mac.

that the company actually owns the Tabuleiro (sp?) DirectMedia Xtra to play
their MPEGs and you can add your own cuepoints
