We have found the Tabuleiro WebXtra to work extremely well; its features are easy to use and pretty powerful. An exception was Flash 6, and we didn't notice the problem for a while: it plays the Flash item fine, and you can click within it and it will register the mousedown, like for a button

Tom, It seems that you've already recieved some good advice but I haven't seen this one discussed: 1) do I use an activeX control browser? When I try this and place the icon on the stage nothing comes up? If you are trying to use Director's own ActiveX Control Xtra then this is expected

Tom, I just finished a project using WebXtra from Tabuleiro and I thought I would share these thoughts: 1. It works as advertised. 2. It will not show sites using Shockwave since that would mean Director would be showing Shockwave inside a Projector or Shockwave inside a Shockwave site

hI tOM, Its easy with tabuleiro web xtra. since all windows machines have the IE browser installed, there are (hardly) any compatibility issues. have used it on many occasions. you can custom build your brwser in director and limit the URLs the user can use very nicely. custom design web
