Hi Lee. You've already done it. If you use a font that has that character
you can use it. If you are worried the end user does not have the font then
you can embed the font in your project.

I just did a little test and the mui xtra does not seem to be shockwave
safe. That is, I could not get it to work in Shockwave. The download if
needed option was not available. I think this is the test of whether or not
an xtra is Shockwave safe or not.

Hi Pranav. For testing purposes the MU server will kick instances of the
same user name, but only from the same IP. If two users try to use the same
user name from different IP addresses then I believe that the second user
gets an "Invalid User ID" error.

Hi Paul. It sounds like you have Netscape set up as your default web
browser. Since you use a gotoNetPage call you are opening the default
browser, which then opens it's preferred email app. In your case it would
be Netscape mail instead of your default email package Outlook Express.

I don't think so. If you have Explorer set as your default browser then

Hi Conrad. FileIO and FileXtra can't really be compared as such. The two
Xtras perform very different but complimentary operations. FileIO is used
to open, read and write to text files. FileXtra is used to perform a number
of File related operations such as listing available drives, checking
Hi Kerry. Some of this can be done with Aftershock. It can do all your
Javascript for shockwave detection, opening the installer page if you don't
have it. It comes with Dir 7, although I'm not sure if it comes with D8.
Depending on your JavaScript ability you can modify the code produced by
Hi Karina. For you "Download if needed" problem, you need to let Director
know how your networking works. Under File - Preferences - Network you
need to fill in your proxy settings manually. Your network administrator
should be able to tell you these settings.
