Hi all
I'm wandering what the best option is currently for an xtra that will
enable me to use a microsoft access database on a CD. It's a furniture
catalog and the access database is the one currently driving the customer's
website, otherwise I would have stuck with lists.

I want to read from and write to a text file on a LAN via a shockwave
interface. It's a library catalogue. the problem is I'm more familiar with
director than I am with other kinds of database connectivity which I
realise would probably be easier!

I'm making a dictionary and I guess I need to convert lists to strings
before saving them to a text file using FileIO.
myFileIOObj.writefile() = myList doesn't work
I'm kinda new to lists...

triggering of events when hotspots and nodes are entered - just altering
the contents of a text field.
