Yes, you should have a MYM something folder that has the logos, and your
licensing information states the requirements, and you should find it in
one of your books - perhaps the user guide.

When creating a CD with Director, do I have to put any macromedia logo
anywhere? If so, what logo ... and where does it state this requirement???

That is a bug with Director 8 that occurs on WinNT boxes. If you need a
splash screen, use an Xtra or maybe MasterApp or something can help you
bring the projector in front of other apps.

Hi Sridhar,
My guess is that you created a Shockwave version of Projector. This option
is available in Projector options > Player.
Copy the following files from the Director application folder to your
project's Xtras folder, it should work fine.
Dirapi.dll
Iml32.dll
msvcrt.dll
Proj.dll

im facing a peculiar problem while creating a
projector of my director file. After creating the
projector i burnt it on to a CD and opened it on the
other CD. but my presentation is asking for a
shockwave player plug-in why is it so? can any body

You can do this by writing Lingo to send messages to the Flash movie. Based
on the message, Flash can then do its stuff with its content.

company made the game for the webb and I really dont know why he cant get

Are you using readIni() function to read text file?. The buddyAPI help says
that this function returns a maximum of 2000 characters, does your text
file exeeding this limit?. Just a guess.

successfully for a number of different projects. We need to use Buddy API
for it functionality that FileIO can
