I picked up one of Dru's PC-BSD DVDs from the meeting the other night

I'm sorry that wasn't clear (for next release I'll make this point
clearly). It's purely a social event.
In fact, Ubuntu releases are typically not until late afternoon (here
in Eastern time zone) on day of release, so it is unlikely we will
even have any ISO images burned of the final CD

Late last night I posted a question to the Ubuntu-ca mailing list,
asking if anyone could confirm or deny my suspicion that the new
copyright law would be bad for linux and open source.
CBC headlines like "Copyright bill would ban breaking digital locks",
this sounds bad for DVD playback on linux
