I had this exact job in the past. It was by far the WORST job experience
I've ever had. Funny story, the section about automation and such is
bullocks. You will get in trouble for using automation. Apply at your own
risk.

Does anyone know how frequently Wind River has less dev oriented Linux
roles? I'm a system administrator/system architect looking for work and
there seems to be a shortage of 'Linux System Administrator' roles lately.
Any leads are appreciated!
Thanks,
Jeff

I think BlackIron Data should be able to do what you're asking for, at that
price. If they can't, send me an email. I know someone there and can get
you a deal.

Then you alienate people in the east end and centretown. Travelling to
Algonquin from Gatineau is going to take me ~1 hour, each way, IF I catch
my connections. Heading downtown is 25 minutes at most. That's what not to
like.

Personally, this has limited appeal. I would want to attend meetings to
meet face-to-face with folks and have a good time. It's also a chance to
get out of the house. I think that would be stifled with a 'webex'
experience. It has as much appeal as those Redhat web conference emails I
get.

I believe the issue of justifying the effort involved in organizing these
events would be resolved if people could more easily attend. As it is,
quite a few people seem disinclined to attend simply because of the

Another vote for django. Highly extensible and secure.

For whatever it's worth, my involvement would be increased if the location
were more centralized. I don't know about others, but travelling from Hull
to Algonquin has a limited appeal.
Also, a hackathon sounds pretty interesting. I've been toying with the idea
of starting a 'hack space' with more
Hey guys,
I have an interview for a sys admin job. They're asking for Redhat/SUSE
experience. Can anyone offer any suggestions(major differences/common
locations, etc) for 'switching' from Debian? Any common caveats, use cases,
variations or maybe even just 'FAQs' about switching. Thanks!

The only caveat with this is if your mail client blocks the loading of images
by default. Spammers used the trick of a 1px X 1px transparent jpg to track
their conversions so some mail clients stopped loading images by default.

Hi everyone!
I'm Jeff and it was suggested that I signup for this list. I used to be an
active member of the MLUG(Montreal) before moving to Ottawa. I remember
meeting a few of you, oh so many years ago.
I was wondering about the next meeting. I know its the first Tuesday of the
month and was loo
