The current ones are lin_tape, and there are two dependent packages,
IBMtapeutil, and lin_taped.
The lin_tape drivers have to be hand-built for a particular kernel

With QEMU it is possible to run a copy of MS Windows Server 2003 on
z/Series. Of course it is slow, at least on the z/990 I am using. The
installation of Windows took about 8 hours but it worked
I will be out of the office starting 10/17/2008 and will not return until
10/18/2008.

SPARC as well, plus building reliably on 390. The 390 code could use a
little optimization, but it does work.
