Everything you describes seems to be okay, but the hipersockets is still
not working.
It is now possible to ping the own ip-address of the hipersocket but pings
to other hipersockets still fails.
I did use Yast to configure the, automatically, detected hipersocket.

After reading your suggestions the problem was solven in less then a
minute!
The problem was that the users were not already defined at the Linux
site... I've spend many hours at the wrong site...
We will now have a look for further configuration issues.
