Our shop here is nearly all iscsi for disk attachment.
I have seen much in the redbooks on using fiber channel, but I need to know,
can we do iscsi from the Z platform?
If so, where do I start?

I need to remove a problem device so I can try and re-add it and get the system
back up at 100%.
I am trying to remove a fzp attached ts1120 tape drive by hand without yast.
Yast doesn't work well with screen reading software for the blind.
I tried the following with no luck

Under vm 5.3 both instances are suse sles10.
Some one edited the /etc/inittab on instance A.
How can we mount instance a's root fs to instance b so as to fix the inittab?
Or, is there a better way?

We are using ts1120 drives in a 3494 library. Currently running tsm v5.4.4 on
sles9 sp4.
We will be moving to sles10 when tsm v6 is really ready.

Finally, with the latest version 1.19.0-1 of lin_tape, the rmpbuild for
creating the binaries from source gives a decent error message.

Have a linux guest which we are trying to set up for use as a TSM
server.
I have been trying to install the zfcp drivers so as to set up access to
our 3592 drives.
However, got a few problems.
1. yast looks just aweful on a vt100. I am totally blind, so text
sessions are my only option.

Has anyone out there installed 3592 drives, a 3494 library on a linux
guest?
If so, can you point me at some documentation to get started please?
I understand the IBMtape driver, it is just all the stuff with getting
the drives recognized at a hardware level.
