properly configured to fork itself to the background (daemon), it will

client, mysqladmin... etc).

Or you can use 'chkconfig' for redhat and 'rctab' for suse.

Just wanted to update you on what's going on with my machine...
I added "cp set run on" to the profile exec file, and the situation got better,
but the machine still hangs after about 5 minutes...

I need some help, and I couldn't find an answer anywhere on the web, so
I hope someone could help me out here...
I have some major problems with vm's TCPIP. When I configure linux to
use IUCV, the kernel (2.2.16) spits out "Connection to user TCPIP is
down", and it hangs for a while.

If there's a .spec file included in your tarball, you can just do rpm

S/390 arch? ( I could only find 6.4 and 7.0 ).
