FCP, multipath and LVM order at boot time

So I did not use the FCP devices at install time. After install, I added three LUNs, set up multipathing, set up an LVM and edited /etc/fstab so it is mounted over /opt. I did a chkconfig multipathd on and rebooted. The LV did not mount. It seems multipathd ran *after* /etc/fstab was read. After
