I don't think so. Windows 2.0 could multitask DOS apps on an 8086, iff they
were very well behaved. I've heard that the feture was pulled when stupid
people tried to multitask things like 123.

question. How the hell is anyone supposed to know why on earth your box
freezes every now and then ?? You could at least provide more data if

Does anyone else agree with me that direct int 10 access is a mistake?
Wouldn't access through a device driver be a bit more unixy? It would
be able to prevent multiple processes from trying to access int 10
services.
I totally agree with this. An int 0x10 solution is *so* DOS, with the main
include the To: field of the mail header.
