Am I doing anything wrong?
What should I try next?

Thanks!
I read the README and had a look at the source, but I have not fully
understood it. I am especially interested in how you keep the two parts
synchro
some way, e.g. using
word clock.
Is this (still) correct? Or has jack.udp been developed to include
synchronisation?
(On a side note, it seems that Rohan Drape's web pages that are linked
to from the jack pages, http://www.alphalink.com.au/~rd/sw/jack.html,
have disappeared.)

I usually use Matlab for this. Octave may also be used. Both of these
are very suitable for

Some colleauges of mine do need a tool for coding and decoding of
high-order Ambisonic for their research. They are aiming for seventh
order, played back over sixteen loudspeakers. They are now planning to
implement this, using either JACK or LADSPA.

yone could provide me with information on, or pointers to,
open-source software for doing this, I would be grateful. (I have
started to roll my own, but I can hardly defend duplicating work
unnecessarily.)
Other comments are of course also appreciated.
