Yes, thanks to my host Guenter Geiger I met with Xavier Serra and some
of his students. UPF is one of the AGNULA partners, and their
contribution is largely focused on the CLAM (C++ Library for Audio and
Music) project. The latest Musings on the soundapps site

It's a good sign if the UK Government looks into OSS!
Not so much the UK Government, but the EU has funded the Agnula project
[http://www.agnula.org/] which is aimed squarely at Open Source Linux
Audio dev.
