Is the align-at option supposed to work in setup-storage 1.3 or was it

All,
I would like to set up my FAI installation to crash or just stop if and only
if there are files in /home on the original disk.
Our users all log in with home directories mounted via NFS. But their disk

I usually use Windows for my desktop machine because I'm blind and the best

my PC overnight. Meanwhile, Bill Gates installed an important security
update on my PC and rebooted my computer. This in turn caused linux to
Is there a way to take a stock kernel config and turn it into a FAI boot
kernel config? I just cannot get my FAI boot kernel to recognize the sata
drive in a machine. Who knows what box I have to check in the kernel config?
But I know a ubuntu kernel recognizes the drive. Can I start with a
partition if there's a lot of RAM and toward
the low end if not.

Huh? The debootstrap command works withthe --arch arguement or with
the --exclude argument but not with both. So as far as i can tell, this
is not a problem with fai but with debootstrap. Well, I am running sarge
