Hello,
In a two node cluster with stonith configured and properly working I
have some resources wich are non critical for the system. Now what I'd
like to have in my configuration is that when a failure in stopping
one of this non critical resources occurs the stonith operation isn't
triggered and

Oh, so there's even a patch already. Pity I didn't know that last week.
I'll apply it in the next node I install, so far my systems goes
smooth with the solution I used and now hearbeat is defeating hacmp
:-)
Thanks for your time.

You can always use the ssh stonith agent (external/ssh), it's mainly
for testing but I guess its better than no stonith at all.

Hello,
I'm trying to compile heartbeat 2.1.2 in SLES9 SP3 on Power, but I got
an annoying problems with mgmtd/hb_gui

Hello,
I see there are a few people with problems related to
authenticate through hb_gui, so here is mine:

Oh sorry my mistake, I was doing man chsyscfg.
Many thanks.

Hello,
I want to configure stonith in my cluster and since they are LPARs in
a p Series 570 y can use the ibmhmc stonith agent; my questions are:
-What user initiates the connection from the cluster to the HMC? I
know there will be a ssh connection and the end user is hscroot, but

As usual you were right, changing it to lowercase did the trick.
It was in uppercase in t
Hello fellow cluster members ;-)
I'm getting the following error message whenever I try to write to the

A number of people have done so. There are some issues that in an ideal

Watch out, it seems the integration between heartbeat and evms is
still work in progress; I already tried and now I'm patiently waiting
for the SLES10 SP1 (have a look at this short thread

I don't think that the filesystem type should be a problem since I'm
using a private container, right?
I know STONITH is important here, I'll take care of this later.
A bit lost here, any helping hand?
Kind regards

Thanks Andrew I'll give it a try, or maybe wait for that service pack
and ask another question in the list (due soon) ;-)
