Problems with HF modem.

I have being trying to get the hf modem working on my Linux box here, without any success. I had a few problems compiling the terminal part due to what seemed to be incompatibilities with make. My problem now is that when I try to install the hfkernel module, it respond "Device or resource busy"

Yes, I have tried to setup the sound modem, the only problem is my sound card doesn't work properly under linux. and I'm not that great at soldering... Cyron I ordered the Katronics KPC-3+ from HRO and I'll probably also order the Yam... - Origin

Yes, I agree the sound modem works well for base type applications, unless you have a pcmcia soundcard, or is embedded on your laptop mainboard. Has anyone explored the 19.2K via a soundcard yet? I have successfuly worked 1200/9600 but haven't had the time to sit down and start playing with
