Brian,
You need to read the (somewhat outdated) AX.25-HOWTO and the docs for
your NOS.
I am running several nodes with CLX packet cluster, http, smtp, irc,
ftp, telnet
etc. Each PC and each installation is unique, so help is difficult
without detailed

Are there any stateside hams who have had success running the ax25 stuff
in Linux? It seems all the development and examples are European or

Which is good for them. There is not much packet activity here in

Hi linuxers,
this message is just to remember that AWZNode v0.3b run with Redhat,
Suse and other distibutions with glibc (libc6). The problem is compiling

The original modem was by Pawel Jalocha, SP9VRC for the DSP56002EVM and my
work is a port of that code to Linux.
This is to be considered a beta

In a few recent posts, there was mention of a need for a Linux packet
terminal program. A possibility or two were suggested.
Perhaps someone could help with my ongoing search for a Linux "packet
terminal" look-alike that runs a telnet session instead of (or in addition
to) AX25.

I don't think so. They are built by SuSE for SuSE 6.2/6.3, so
they need at least glibc 2.1. They might work on RedHat 6.x if you
override dependencies using rpm --nodeps.

Will any of the RPMs for LinKT work with Red Hat 5.2?
