Well sending SIGKILL to terminate node certainly does

Bob,
Do you want me to split-out the ax25ipd stuff out of ax25-tools?

Mike!
Many thanks!! That did the trick!
Hi and thanks for reading this msge.
I am trying to set up AX25 on a laptop computer with Mandrake 6.0
Unfortunately the GCC compiler won't compile the ax25 utils
(2.1.42a). It crashes at CALL.C complaining that SOL_AX25 is
undeclared.
I suspect it is because I don't have Xforms installed. I
Bonjour Yves,
Here is a patch that will make PB/PG compile with libax25. Please unpack
the attached tgz-file in the directory that contains pb-pg-1.3 and apply
the patch with this command:
patch -p1
pbpg-131.tgz

Hi!
Thanks Tomi, yes kill -9 my.script has been performed regularly. Seems

Hello, Kai!
Thank you very much for helping me!
I have just recompile my kernel...Strange things! The problems with
modproblem was not solved, but I lost my ax25 !!! This is what I see during
Linux startup:

Hi,
I've been told
that some of the latest Linux releases include the AX25 Tools etc. so no
additional packages are required for setting up the Node
etc.
Is this the case
with RedHat & if so from which version / release?
(I'm presently
running RH5.2 & ax25 uti

Quoting Thomas Sailer, nowadays "sethdlc" is the successor of "setbaycom".
Sethdlc is part of the ax25-
Hi Paul,
unless it's been changed in a newer version, the Link command only shows the
instantaneous state of the Retry counter for the current frame (eg. 2 tries
from 15 max) - there is no 'accumulated total' of retries for a given link,
which is what I'm looking for.
Thanks for the interest,

The rpm fails on RH6.1 due to an unsatified dependency on libfakeroot. I
tracked down this debian package, but alien choked on it. I manually copied the
library over, and now sattrack dies with: "File 'tlex.dat' not found"

HI guys! Happy New Year 2000 to all of you!
Finally I was able to compile 2.2.13 kernel on SuSE 6.2 with ax25-stuff
(including as a modules) and it's working fine! But now I've got the
following messages during my Linux boot:
proc on /proc type proc (rw)
modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module nl

I don't think there is an official URL, you've found much more

Hi,
I'm presently
running RedHat 5.2 with AX25 Utils 2.1.42a
Is there any way of
displaying the retry count on a given link with this setup? (Or with any later
software)
What I really need
is something along the lines of the 'r r' info in the BPQ Node software, where
continuous counts
put this in your startnos file or similar...
export TERMINFO=/usr/share/terminfo
thats assuming thats where your terminfo files live. RH 6.0 keeps them
there.

On a heartfelt personal note, can I say that IPC message channels are one of
the hardest (read nastiest) programming things to get absolutely correct in
all circumstances.
I once wrote a very nice commercial spooler using them and although it works
very well, under the miriad fault conditions wit

Probably it doesn't find the terminfo database. I guess the executable was
compiled
