prefer to compile the ax25 drivers I want into the kernal as this
saves all the trouble with the modules.
Good luck

I have managed to set up my Baycom board on bcsf0 and that works fine under
Linpac. :-)
I did an "ifconfig" and ax0 is up and running as normal
Interesting problem I suppose it might be a duff Tiny2!

Delphi for Linux should be available later this year. I have requested to join
the beta program, but they haven't gotten back to me with an NDA yet. From what
I've read, Delphi for Linux (code name Kylix) will use the QT libraries, so it
will mesh well with KDE. Not sure yet if Kylix will use QT 2

I will be running netrom and TCP/IP over Netrom.
Any help on getting the kernel re-compiled, installed and working would be a
great.

Does your script do all of the above? If so I would like a copy.
I am getting close to getting AX25 to work.

A soundcard with the TEKK-1000/960 with the filter mods for 19.2k would
be very nice. Cheap too!

I know it seems simple, but did you set the CPU type in the kernel config to
"486". I've compiled on a couple Cyrix 486's without problems.

sure seemed to complain while I ran the patch, and supposed maybe
with 2.0.36 the patch wasn't needed, so re-ran the compile without
running the patch...same results.
Any ideas?

John,
I'd say run redhat 5.0/1/2 and drop all but the essential packages. If
there is any way to add some more RAM to the box though I would recommend it
highly. The least I've run linux in is 6MB and it was a bit painful
