Hello,
just a little hint concerning the 6pack documentation: When using
the new version of kissattach delivered with the AX.25-Tools, it is
no longer necessary to modify and recompile kissattach because the
6pack support is now builtin. You can either set a link from kissattach to
spattach

Hello,
I have released 6pack-0.4.2, which fixes some bugs of 0.4.0 and
contains some cleanups.
However, the kernel panic problem after killing spattach or

still present.

Hallo,
I have released a new version of the 6pack driver, which runs on 2.2.x
kernels. This version removes the problem that spattach runs into an
uninterruptible sleep after a bare AX.25 connection has been opened and
spattach is killed. However, it actually suffers from the same problem
bly easier if I take the kernel interface code
from the latest 2.2.x mkiss driver and replace/add the 6pack-specific
routines. This will also be a good opportunity to fix the old
documentation attached with the driver ...

Hello together,
I'm very sorry about your inconveniences with 6pack.
Here are the actual facts:
- 6pack-0.2.0 is a module designed for 2.0.x kernels. It is the latest
version currently available. I have done some minor changes in the

Well, it seems there's not much interest in the protocol.
At least, among the Linux users :(
But obviously, this also applies to others. Besides Thomas Sailers'

Hello,
here are some information about the 6pack driver:
- the latest version of the 6pack driver for 2.0.x kernels
is still 0.2.0. When compiling it with 2.0.36, warnings may
appear. They are due to redefinitions in the 6pack.h file.
I will release a 0.2.1 version where the warnings

that my backup program and g77 will run. I will try to compile 6pack
