Yes, I agree the sound modem works well for base type applications, unless you have a pcmcia soundcard, or is embedded on your laptop mainboard. Has anyone explored the 19.2K via a soundcard yet? I have successfuly worked 1200/9600 but haven't had the time to sit down and start playing with

I'm looking for a TNC that will do Both 1200, and 9600 baud, portable(will fit on my lapop), is linux compatable. Has the ability to do 19.2kbs(with upgrade or whatever..), and can do TCP/IP. I've looked at paccomms, and others, and I just can't figure out which one to go with. Does anyone have an
