Thanks for the suggestion, but it doesn't work. It seems Mandrake handles the path differently. I'm attaching /etc/profile. Notice that at the end of the file I added the PATH line. I also put in an ECHO so I'd know if it was working. I do get the echo and the path **seems** to now include the add

Edit your /etc/fstab file. you'll have there something like /dev/hda1 /win vfat defaults add uid=userid,umask=077 - that user will have read/write access to that partition. the rest wont be able to read or write. if you want to give access for more then one user you might want to
