You know guys - there are other distros out there - some of them even

I've beed a Mandrake user since 6.1, and while it's not the brightest star

I think what they meant is that it's a 'big problem', since it's basically
illegal. Bezeq prohibits you to use ADSL to connect a network (its in the

The official word from Redhat is for developers - to use Redhat 6.2 and not

I know that I'm using 7.0 + all the latest fixes and patches, but there are
still compiler problems (take a look for example at avifile-0.6 which has
horrible problems with RH 7 and not RH 6.2)..

Both bezeqint and nonstop business managers told me the same thing (I
talked with the guy who was the ADSL manager in
bezeqint, not a sales/support man).
but if you guys say its working, I guess we'll upgrade our isdn connection
to adsl next week :)
thanks everyone.

Sagi,

Hi,
I heard from bezeq that there's a major problem of connecting local
networks with an adsl connection from bezeq.
I would like to know if anyone could get IP Masquerade on linux to work
with it.

Hi friends,
I want to share you with the following message from MainWin.
Yes, it deals with a commercial product, and yes, it is connected to
Microsoft, but it is an Israeli start-up that we all want to succeed,
and the purpose of their product is to allow easy conversion from

Hi list.
I've just had a talk with our sysadmin back in the kibutz, and she says
she has no problem comiting to Linux full time, if only for lack of
commercial support in Israel. so the question of the day - can we, and if
so - with whom - sign an 'on-site' support contract ?

Hello,
I'm the unfortunate user of Orckit ATUR3 modem... After trying for 3

Files on a Unix file system are hidden only if
their name starts with a period (a dot '.'). there is no "hidden" attribute -
change their name to something that doesn't start in a period, and they should
lose their 'hidden' attribute.

I'm not too sure I understood the problem you described but I'll try :)
First, Word and Excel must be able to see the same files as microsoft
explorer can.. It's based on the same way of browsing. and let's say you
can't- you can always map the network share as a drive, let's say, N:

Nice. but how to you comine qpopper and cyrus ? cyrus keeps all data
closed and locked away while qpopper expects some kind of mail folders,
right ?
Also, did you write an admin interface, too ?
Are you making a product from this or just a custom-made solution for your

Well, some of the users will be dealt by cyrus and some will be placed in
/var/spool/virtual & /var/spool/mail
currently its not integrated with cyrus, but im working on it.
it must work exim is amazingly flexible.
The interface should be simple to build as all the the users ( not the sys one )
