Hi all
I am building a kernel module (char device) that should get runtime
parameters from a user mode process.
Among the info items that should flow to the module are strings and
arrays. To my understanding I can use any of the following methods to
achieve this: ioctl, sysfs, procfs, device read
Hi,
This year there is no registration, and you can attend and buy a ticket

Later today there will be more details about it on the site.

Hello,
I had heard about the August Penguin 2005 in 4/8/05 and want to
attend it (for the first time).
What is the procedure for it?
Is it enough to come in that day and buy a ticket ; or is there some
earlier registration on the web/email/etc. ?
I did not saw details about it in August Peng
As I already wrote, I'm now able to Hotsync. However, I'm still interested in
answers to the following Bluetooth questions. BTW - as I understand it,

Hello,
When downloading a 2.4G DVD image recently, I've noticed a problem with
our Apache installation on the IGLU server. When trying to resume a file which
is larger than 2GB, it replies:
HTTP/1.1 416 Requested Range Not Satisfiable
Try it yourself:
curl -v -o /dev/null -r 150-200

There's no man page, but --help explains and it looks promising. I'll give it
a try and let you know if it works.
The interesting thing is that it's a chicken/egg thing. Now that I know what
to look for, I found lots of mentions on Google, but my earlier searchs for
"store files on palm linux"

Hi,
I'd like to be able to copy PC files to and from my Palm. I've googled and
haven't found this. I know something like this exists for Windows. Does
anyone know of a LINUX equivalent?
TIA

Hi,
I had problems writing to my disk-on-key and since I found the solution, I
hope this can be of use to anyone with a similar problem.
Although my disk-on-key was mounted properly and used to funtion correctly, I
was getting I/O errors and according to dmesg:
FAT: Filesystem panic (dev sdb1)
