Due to IST, there was no such time as "27 MAR 2009 02:54:00".
$ date -s "27 MAR 2009 02:14:00"
date: invalid date `27 MAR 2009 02:14:00'
$ date -s "27 MAR 2009 02:01:00"
date: invalid date `27 MAR 2009 02:01:00'

This is the start of summer time in Israel, so this hour does not exist.

Hi,
Take a look at this:
# date -s "27 MAR 2009 02:54:00"
date: invalid date `27 MAR 2009 02:54:00'
However..
# date -s "27 MAR 2009 03:00:00"
Fri Mar 27 03:00:00 IDT 2009
Why is it invalid??
Thanks,
Hetz

Hi Shachar,
I knew that I would prompt a reply with my e-mail. Which OS we live in a free

Thanks, Hetz.
I was only referring to the RAID feature. I'm sure the rest will just work.
Guess I'm going to put ubuntu or fedora on this one.
I'll buy the second one, just to be safe (not my dime anyway... ;) )

Thanks Hetz,
Note though that if the cutter doesn't work "automatically" it is kinda hard
to operate.
I can't find any reference to how the cutter is "made to work" for linux, any
clues ? was it some program that did it? raw command to the printer?
something? :)

I checked the Brother QL 550, and it's fully supported under Linux:

It's also got a manual that you can download.
You do, however, need to write your custom program to print and use
