Thanks but it's not as cheap as I was hoping for ("starts at $1995")
and is proprietary. I'd prefer to stick to something more open, like
iSCSI, and cheaper.

We have broken electronics equipment which we would like to dispense with.
Does anyone know who you can give these to?
I am talking about non-functioning computers, harddisk, VGA cards, etc...
Dropping them in the garbage doesn't sound very green.

here's an idea - change the "callee" script to a bash script which
sources the config file, and then call the real perl script. something
along:

source config.env
