offer, only it provides additional locking.
Probably protecting open/close calls in gameport.c with a spinlock would
allow to work without explicit locking in the drivers.
Other than that, the implementation looks OK.

I know quilt can do it, but quilt can't do other things I like on bk.

You'll need a new touchscreen most likely. The hammer will break the
glass if you hit it properly, and if the citric acid gets between the
resistive layers, you get nonlinear distortion of the resistivity and
that cannot be calibrated for.
