Sound with new kernels:problem solved!

Hello,I finally solved my soundcard problems using new kernel 2.4.2. I think the solution is a sum of several packages upgrades I made in respect my first failure attempts when I was using new kernel with old packages. Between the upgraded packages I installed the new sndconfig-0.64.8-1 as sugges
