I am using exmh. It never failed me. I must have tried a dozen different mail
handlers each one hang or crashed sooner or later. To retrieve mail I am using
fetchpop after 2 years of agony with fetchmail as many distress calls to this
forum will attest.

Oops. Sorry, my mistake. I should have specified that rmail lacks this
capability, and I clouded the issue by bringing in HTML, which only
happens to apply to a specific case.

The latest release is the 1.5.0 it is lightweight,comes for several linux
