Most likely this is a problem of RH7.3 with some video cards. I had the same
and had to reinstall RH7.1 to get on working.

There is a patch for Windows 95 for use with faster AMD processors.
Used to use it on one around here before upgrading to Windows98SE.
Don't think I have a copy of it or I would offer to send it.
