Nobody who actually participates in this list has any ability to modify the settings of the list-management application (majordomo). So making this sort of suggestion on the list will not cause it to be even considered by the people who matter, let alone implemented. You might try making these

On a related note: Some accident/repair event apparently had the effect to trash what would be just one of the "Gdk" libraries. (At least, this was the only fault discovered hitherto after the repair.) Indication is that just one application complains, with some "Gtk-CRITICAL **" error, evidently
