I want to do the same thing. This afternoon I'm going to try to implement
the following idea:
1) on the client box where I plan to listen to the sound (music in my
case), I'm going to listen for incoming tcp/ip connections using nc or
the like and pipe the stream to /dev/dsp locally.

Does anyone know how to set up an encrypted filesystem using 2.4.22+
kernels. I used to use CryptoAPI from www.kerneli.org in previous
kernels, but changes have been made in kernels 2.4.22+ that breaks from
the previous way cryptography was done and I can't seem to get it working.
