Please are there any Linux users using the BT Broadband connection in
the UK ?
I would especially like to put my Debian Woody onto broadband, but I
also have SuSE 8.0 which might be easier.
The interface will be USB.

r efforts were not rewarded.
Is there a simple reason why the "commercial distros" are able to do
this ? Maybe they are using non-GPL software that we would not wish to
see in Debian.
Is the problem only with Woody ?
How will other versions of Debian cope with this ?

ne 17" TFT panel display.
It plugs into a parallel port just like a normal monitor.
I will have a look at what the video card is and select that.
Maybe that is the answer.

Pascal under GNU/Linux, and miss the IDE.

I have a dual-boot system with Debian Woody on hda, and SuSE 8.0 on hdb.
They both work well, and share a common hdc.
When I set up the Konsole settings, changing for example, the Schema and
the font size,
and then hit the Save Setting button on Debian, they STAY saved, and are
there next

In my SuSE Linux 7.1 Professional there is a character file called
/dev/dsp56k.
Please where can I read about this ?
I have a couple of Motorola dsp56002 evaluation modules (EVM), and
wonder whether there is Linux support for this DSP family (or others).

I use Borland TP7.0, but
would like to download (possibly) gpc by the means described above.
Can anyone foresee any dangers, or offer any advice?
Will I possibly encounter problems with dependencies ?
