Make sure that your kernel and raidtools are the same version. The kernels are shipping with the old raid code, if you want the new code, patch the kernel. Patches up to 2.2.13 are on ftp.kernel.org or your friendly mirror, the patch for 2.2.14 is at http://www.redhat.com/~mingo/ Greg

About the crashes I reported yesterday: I received several mails suggesting cable problems, Power supply failure etc, so maybe I did not make my self clear enough: I've replaced all hardware except the disks. The disks have been checked w/ SCSI-BIOS disk utilities, without finding any errors. Eith
